Thank you to volunteer Mike Bailey

Forsight appreciates Past Chairman Michael Bailey for his voluntary contribution to the 2013 Annual Review. Michael has again captured the essence of the Forsight Community at work and at home. Again this year, Forsight will benefit from this interesting and topical resource that tells the Forsight Story for all to enjoy.

Donors appreciate that Forsight applies 100 percent of all Specific Donations to each project that is agreed to at the time a donation is received. It is even better for donors to be able to follow the progress of where their donation is going, followed by a picture of the project when it is complete.

If you would like a copy of the Forsight 2013 Annual Review email
to have your copy posted to you.

Genworth Annual Golf Day and Fundraiser

On Thursday 19 September 2013, Genworth held its Annual Golf Day at Manly Golf Course.
Trish Wetton, CEO joined Lyndsey Mckee from United Way Australia at the Genworth Charity Hole and spoke to Genworth employees and their customers about Forsight’s services for adults who are deafblind with additional disabilities living in community group homes located in Sydney and the Nepean area.

Genworth very generously matched $ for $ donated on the day. On behalf of our deafblind adults I conveyed to Genworth CEO Ellie Comerford and organisers Dorothy Lee, Kim Matthews Stuart and Zoe Adams Lau their sincere thanks.

Forsight Expansion

We are excitedly planning for our expansion – to open 4 new Forsight community group homes during 2013 to accommodate 20 deafblind adults in the Sydney metropolitan area. Genworth Sensory hands-on kitchens will be included in the new community group homes so these kitchens will resemble Forsight’s sensory kitchens Jacaranda, Waratah and Illawarra community group homes.
